International Experience

AP/CP Residency                                                                                          Jun 2018- Jul 2021

·        Responsible for accurate, independent reporting of cytological & histopathological diagnosis of over 1,000 monthly specimens

·        Extensively diagnosed Aspergillosis on nasal biopsies, a condition that witnessed an increased incidence during the COVID-19 pandemic.

·        Was directly involved in maintaining operational matrices such as rapid turnaround time, minimal redo rates, optimal resource utilization and high patient satisfaction.

·        Standardized reporting methodology using lean six-sigma reducing report amendments by 50%.

Research

·        Successfully defended my MD/master’s thesis on the role of STAT-3 immunohistochemical marker and its correlation with IL-6 levels in chronic subdural hematoma.

·        Assisted in primary research for several case report articles by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data and results.

COVID-19-Related

·        Served as an on-call physician in the emergency, administered vaccine prophylaxis, and conducted nasopharyngeal swabs for RT-PCR testing during the pandemic.
