Assistant Engineer

Water Resources Department (Irrigation), Government of Kerala, India May 2020 – May 2021

·       Responsible and accountable for the management of multiple projects of the Government of Kerala for the conservation of land and water bodies

·       Liaised with contractor and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of a Gabion retaining wall construction project that had been suspended due to disagreement among the parties involved. Implemented risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful completion of the project.

·       Planned and executed projects for the protection of river banks along Meenachil river and Muvattupuzha river using Dry Rubble Masonry protection wall.

·        Identified and engaged relevant stakeholders in the execution and completion of a desiltation project that prevented devastating floods which had been affecting Kaduthuruthy town for five consecutive years.
