Clinical Research Assistant I

Job Description
The Division of Orthopaedic Surgery is seeking a part-time (20 hrs/week) Clinical Research Assistant I for a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension. The individual will primarily be responsible for patient recruitment and follow-up, data collection, and data entry, for a multitude of ongoing clinical research trials under the general direction of Scientists, Research Coordinators, and the Research Program Manager. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who works well in a team environment and is comfortable working in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Tasks include but are not limited to:
•Screening, recruitment, and consent of study participants (primarily in clinic).
•Follow-up of study participants
•Data collection and data entry
•Close communication with research coordinators, surgeons, and other members of the research team.
•Other study-related tasks as needed.

Basic Requirements (Education/Experience):
•Superior communication skills.
•Excellent organizational and planning skills.
•Attention to details.
•Ability to work independently and as a team member.

Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience working in a healthcare setting.
•Bilingual (French and English

Contract Details:
This is a 6-months part-time position (20 hours/week) and it’s primarily an in-person work setting.
Salary: Min: $19.931/hr. – Max: $25.370/hr.
