Principal Engineer
As one early member of the Mobile Modem System Test (MST) Canada Team, mainly put efforts to support remote leaders located in headquarter San Diego/US to operate local small MST team and give essential support to San Diego MST team.
· Work with members to contribute test efforts to chipset lab performance and Inter-Operability Test areas.
· Give technical support to Europe & Canada mobile operators on customers issues and Qualcomm chipset test related business.

Mobile Modem System Test (MST) China Team, 2012 – 2022
To secure modem chipset commercialization, MST team need keep consistent test efforts thru the whole product roadmap esp. from Feature Complete (FC) to Commercial Stage (CS). As one of key members of China modem test team, collaborate with various teams including software, system, product management and business development on modem chipset quality assurance support.
· Aligning with modem chipset roadmap to make test plan to cover modem function and performance test in lab and commercial wireless environment.
· Setup lab test environment, directly involve and drive lab and field test, composing daily test report, doing log analysis on issues, working with software teams on issues debugging and fix verification.
· Working with operators’ (China Mobile/China Unicom) engineering team to drive chipset certification test in operator appointed environment to prove the chipset quality beyond operators’ requirement which benefit the OEMs following acceptance test in operators.
· Working with OEMs/Mobile Customers to address all of concerns/issues seen during OEMs’ mobile terminal launch, thru the on-site testing or remote technical support to help customer unblock the way timely.
· Test efficiency improving thru automation tool developing with Python.
· Leverage knowledge/experience to give training to other team members.
China Mobile Carrier/Operator Support, 2009 – 2011
As one Staff member, lead carrier support business from technical and test perspective. Mainly interfaced with China Mobile Operators CMCC (China Mobile) and CU (China Unicom).
· Leverage the strong technical background to actively drive test efforts on new technology validation hosted by operators.
· Build up and maintain strong business relationships with operators’ Tech Departments and facilitate technical communication among customers and operators and internal groups.
· Take lead to drive and clear up technical issues on OEMs mobile terminal reported from operators’ market.
Hongkong Mobile Carrier/Operator Support, 2005 – 2008
Key player from China team, closely work with global teammates to support six mobile operators’ business in Hongkong. Liaised with customers, operators’ tech department and internal teams.
· To meet HK market launch requirement, drive modem chipset field mobility testing with regular basis.
· To facilitate customers’ mobile terminal product launch smoothly, deeply engaging into OEMs’ product launching process from requirements analysis to acceptance test. The support efforts improve 30% of efficiency on technical issue debugging, also save customers’ ~20% of testing efforts, which speed up the time-to-market for customers’ mobile terminal.
Mobile Terminal Customer Support/Issues handling, 2005
OEMs’ issue case handling, as one Senior CE (Customer Engineering) Engineer, with daily connection with customers to give timely response on reported issues, dig out the root cause and follow up internally to figure out solution and unblock the way of OEMs’ handset/device commercialization.
Inter-operability (IODT/IOT) Test Against Mobile Network vendors, 2004 – 2005
