2017-2018: Chair, OF-5, TUR-MOD Army CIS School Electronics Warfare (EW) Systems Board

Responsible for the training & education of EW Officers, NCOs, Professional Sergeants before their first assignments.

 

2016-2017: Branch Head, OF-5, HQ Turkish General Staff, Communications, Electronics, and Information Systems Project Management Branch

Led large scale military communications, electronics, and information systems projects (including military radios) to meet the joint requirements of Land, Air and Navy Commands.

 

2015-2016: Section Head, OF-5, HQ Turkish General Staff, Software Development Center (SDC)

Oversaw small and medium scale software projects to meet the joint requirements of Land, Air and Navy Commands in all functional areas (intelligence, operations, logistics…).

Project Manager for the delivery of NATO’s Land Command and Control Information Services (LC2IS) infrastructure during the Requirements Definition phase. Managing Work Packages for eliciting user and regulatory requirements; conducted and chaired requirements workshops participated by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from operational NATO HQs in different functional areas. 1995-2011: Chief Technical Project Officer, OF-1, OF-2 & OF-3, Turkish Army Aviation School, Helicopter Simulator Center

Chief Technical Project Officer for delivery of “Helicopter Simulator Center”; from development of technical design specifications to the end user acceptance test procedures phases. The center is composed of virtual simulators (two S-70 A28/DSAR Sikorsky and one AS-532 Cougar helicopter full flight simulators), constructive simulation assets (computer generated forces) representing other entities (friend and foe) and a standalone computer-based training system.

 

Chief Maintenance Officer responsible for the maintenance and daily operations of 4 CAE made UH-1H full flight simulators. Managed technical staff (app. 8 FTE) and oversee maintenance activities and daily operations at the Center.
