·      Read and file transactions’ documents per type, create and generate forms, reports, and other documentation relevant through different steps of the transaction to the final closing.

·      Review of mortgage and real estate documentation; communicate and assist clients through the procedures of completing their files.

·      Data entry in LawDoneDeal and Teraview, a one-stop solution to accessing data in the Government of Ontario’s land records database.

ICON-Institute Consulting Group is a German private company designing, managing, and implementing international projects in development cooperation.

Responsible for supporting skills development in Import/Export, on behalf of the Rwandan-German Development Cooperation (GIZ) program Promotion of Economy and Employment. Additionally, the work involved logistics tasks for the workshops including drafting contracts and developing and executing related budgets.

Successfully coordinated and run 60 days of workshops, in close partnership with Rwanda Polytechnic and the Private Sector, that resulted into the development of a curriculum and training materials for TVET Diploma in Supply Chain Management.

 

TECHNICAL EXPERT IN WORKPLACE LEARNING                                                                                  Dec. 2016 – Oct. 2017

German Development Agency (GIZ)/EcoEmploi Program – Kigali-Rwanda

Sector: Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)

The EcoEmploi program aims at improving the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises in the fields of wood trade, tourism, information and communications technology, creative industries, E-commerce, and logistics, and it is raising the quality of the demand-led vocational training system.

·      Participated and conducted quality assessment assignment in 9 vocational and technical secondary schools in Rwanda for the selection of potential partnering schools for the promotion of dual training, followed by a two-day reflection workshop on findings and recommendations.

·      Coordinated the interventions on dual training in supported sectors of ICT and Tourism and Hospitality: designing the concept and roadmap for dual training (workplace learning) in the Rwandan context, advisory in clarification of roles and responsibilities of public and private actors.

·      Developed, implemented, and monitored capacity development measures for companies and private other partners on workplace learning. The measures included visits and presentations to schools and companies for recruiting them to adopt the innovative workplace learning approaches (modern apprenticeship, dual training).

VVOB Education for development is a non-profit organization and Commissioned by the Flemish and Belgian governments to contribute to the quality of education in developing countries.

The 2014 – 2016 program on Learning Outcomes in Primary Education focused on the quality of education and, through a comprehensive multifaceted approach, to improve learning outcomes in basic and primary education in Rwanda.

Responsible for organizing learning and professional development of the staff as well as carrying out monitoring and evaluation activities.

·      Developed, implemented and followed-up technical and institutional capacity development strategies for the 16 team members after based on their needs and I identified appropriate training opportunities within available budgets.

·      Designed and implemented the program monitoring and evaluation system and ensured the system relevancy, accuracy, and effectiveness.

·      Involved in data collection, data analysis and evaluation reports, I regularly compiled internal and external reports on the progress of the program.

·      As responsible for Knowledge Management, I populated and updated the SharePoint for the organization.

Chemonics International – Rwanda Family Health Project, a United States Agency for International Development (USAID) contractor, Rwanda

Sector: Health

The 2012 – 2015 Rwanda Family Health Project worked with local communities to increase access to and the quality of community-based family health services, including services for family planning; reproductive health; HIV/AIDS treatment; maternal, neonatal, and child health; malaria prevention and treatment; nutrition; and safe water and hygiene across 17 districts in the country.

·      Worked in close collaboration with the entire Project team, government entities, selected local organizations and technical staff to assure effective coordination of training activities related to improved access for health services.

·      Participated in developing strategies to address the training needs and improve training materials at district and health facility levels.

·      Assisted in reviewing, developing, and preparing project training and communications activities in training and capacity building for healthcare workers.

·      Supported monitoring and evaluation activities of training and capacity building sessions for healthcare workers.

·      Contributed to the project communications activities, including development of success stories; drafting, editing, and finalizing regular quarterly and annual project reports as required.

The Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. (CHAI) was founded in 2002 with a transformational goal: help save the lives of millions of people living with HIV/AIDS in the developing world by dramatically scaling up antiretroviral treatment.

Under the overall guidance of the Country Director and the Program Manager, played a key cross-cutting role within the Rural Health Team to support and integrate the different work streams of Rwanda’s Health System terms of developing and managing models to ensure the robustness of the plan.

My role involved primarily to ensure accurate financial and administrative reports to stakeholders and donors, and that internal control systems are functioning, and all relevant records are accurately maintained. Additionally, I was responsible for managing and maintaining staff records and ensuring their welfare. I was also involved in trainings about savings and credit schemes, gender equality, and formation of solidarity groups that promote and improve unity and reconciliation among Rwandans.
