Project Engagement Details:

SQL Project

The initial task was to create a complete database of a Community Centre. The Requirement was that it must be a fully functional database. I also had to use my imagination to give names to the customers and employees along with their ages and salaries. The purpose was to create a database on which a few specific complex queries could be run to meet the goal of the assigned task.

·       Created a relational database by defining the schema (crow’s foot) using the lucid app.

·       Created different tables using diversified functions such as DDL, DML, DCL SQL Constrains, Joins, aggregate functions, window functions, views, subqueries, and CTEs.

 

Python Project

The task was to analyze and present the evolution of the world’s video game industry from 1998 to 2016. To do this, I used Python, Excel, and Tableau.

·       Extensively used Tableau extensively to draw meaningful visualizations.

·       Employed Python and Excel for statistical calculations and conclusions.

·       Completed a comparison analysis between PC gaming, gaming consoles, and play stations.

Determined the critic score for each game genre from the data provided.
Statistical Project

A complete analysis of how various independent variables impact the sales of any retail store. Studied Walmart Stores sales dataset for our study and acquired the large dataset after manual review from the Kaggle website for projections and drawing conclusions. Performed the following activities.

Data Architecture

The task was to design a big data architecture for a new establishment using a topology baseline diagram; below are the tasks that I performed to achieve the set goals.

 

Created the 1NF, 2NF, 3NF and 4NF, Star schema and Snowflake schema of a dataset.
In the first layer, we evaluated various data sources for our new company and selected the best suited options.
In the second layer, we selected data integration tools and used ETL, Master Data Management, Data Services, and Data Visualization.
In the third layer, the Data Warehouse, and BI data, we used all the components of the DW environment like- Staging, ODS, OLAP, Data Marts, Sandbox and BI Repositories, Structured and Unstructured Data, etc.
In fourth layer, we used Ad-hoc Analysis, Data Visualization, Dashboards, Mobile BI, Data Discovery, MS Office Integration, and Predictive Analysis as Business Intelligence tools.
