About the Candidate

I am an industrial engineer with 10+ years research and teaching experience in Turkey. I have worked as a teaching and research assistant (TRA) and faculty member in different institutions. Thanks to my experience in universities, I have good communication skills with my colleagues and other people.

During my career, I focused on the solution of management problems emerging in manufacturing, supply chain, energy and service systems. I have proposed solutions to a variety of management issues in real world applications like service quality evaluation, equipment selection, site selection, production and distribution planning, and scheduling. These solutions have been written in an appropriate format and language and they have been published as referred publications. I got several grants for my research around 60000 CAD so far. I am familiar with writing of grant proposals for national and international grant programs. In short, I am capable of creating innovative solutions and presentation of these solutions to other people.

In the last part of my PhD education and TRA period in Gazi University, I served as the representative of TRAs for two years. This experience helped me to improve my skills in managing people, allocation of appropriate work to correct person, balancing workload of TRAs, scheduling of works and their follow-up. I improved myself on the assignment of limited organizational resources in order to complete all necessary jobs in the best possible way and at an acceptable time.

In short, I can clearly say that I have the technical capability and personal qualifications for management occupations like operations and supply chain manager, project manager, property manager; technical occupations like data and business processes analyst, decision support analyst, supply chain analyst, project analyst, project officer; and university positions in both research and teaching streams.
