Junior Research Technician

Duties:
• Laboratory purchasing and inventory management
• Assistance with research projects and experiments
• Possible independent research project

Basic Requirements (Education/Experience):
• 1-2 year post secondary education in a relevant field with less than 3 years of laboratory experience.
• Previous lab experience
• Ability to work in a team

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in molecular biology methods – especially qPCR, PCR genotyping, plasmid cloning
• Experience in histology
• Experience in animal colony administration
• Experience with cell culture

Contract Details:
This is a 2-year full-time contract with the possibility of renewal.
Salary: Min: $36,270/year – Max: $46,170/year
