About You

About the Role

In this critical position, you will be responsible for supporting our operations and fabrication with and inventory.  This position requires working outdoors a large percentage of the time.

 

Responsibilities:

Unload slabs from delivery trucks with overhead cranes.
Move slabs within the warehouse to keep production moving.
Move slabs for customer viewing.
Photograph and Log slabs into computer using Slab Smith software.
Categorize and organize slab remnants both inside and outside.
Forklift experience necessary for emptying small dumpsters, moving remnants outside, and unloading deliveries.
Move cut pieces to where they need to go (i.e.: to fabrication department or remnant area).
Keep tools and products organized in the shop.
Keep production moving.
Maintain recycled water system by changing out slug bags regularly.
Qualifications

·         1-3 years experience working in a similar preferred

·         Computer literacy a must

·         Current Forklift Certification preferred

·         Familiar with safety regulations and standard warehouse procedures and protocols

·         Ability to cope with the physical demands of lifting

·         A keen eye for detail and a passion for excellent customer service

·         Must have current references and have a history of excellent attendance
