Job Duties:

Review client specifications and requirements, striving to comply with all required standards fully.
Prior to the start of the project, create a submission list to be used for the construction.
Assists and is the liaison between the site superintendent, office administration and Project Manager with overall project performance, including scheduling, cost, safety, and quality.
Manage project activities throughout the lifecycle including resourcing, scheduling, documentation, budget, and other factors.
Provide administrative support to project managers.
Track, document, and distribute instructions and changes to trades and other parties affected by the change.
Track project progress and report to the management team via a formal communications plan.
Ensure client safety obligations are carried out per the agreement’s terms and communicated to the Project Manager and Supervisors.
Implement the Quality Assurance/Quality Control management system at the site
Coordinate all site inspections with the site subcontractors.
Ensure that all submissions and inspection reports are accurate/in compliance and that all attached documents are current status, as per the timelines in the contract.
Coordinate any and complete all on and off-site testing and inspections as required by operations staff.
Verify that the quality-related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes, specifications and standards.
Communicate with the client representative(s).
Plan project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using Microsoft Project software.
Complete reports and checklists per company policies and/or contract requirements and advise supervisors of non-conformances and deviations.
Provide as-builts to site teams and clients.


Required Skills and Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Highly proficient with various Microsoft Office applications
May routinely require the employee to climb, bend, push, pull, lift, and /or carry objects.
Willing and able to travel for assigned out-of-town projects
Previous experience as a Project Coordinator is considered an asset
Previous experience in Sewer and Water, Wastewater treatment, and pumping stations is considered an asset
ACI Certification is considered an asset.
Nuclear Gauge Certification is considered an asset
