Under the direction of the Supervisor of Maintenance, the Electrician:

  • installs, maintains, upgrades and repairs electrical and fire alarm systems throughout the Board;
  • performs other duties, as assigned by the supervisor;
  • some overtime may be required.

 

Required Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Secondary School graduation diploma;
  • five-year Electrical Construction and Maintenance License, (includes the equivalent of one year of Community College);
  • fire alarm system certified;
  • two years of related commercial experience;
  • ability to work independently;
  • good interpersonal skills;
  • a valid driver’s licence;
  • a satisfactory Police Record Check will be a condition of employment.

 

This is a permanent, full-time position with an annual salary of $79,815. A comprehensive employee benefits package is also provided.

The start date is approximately July 4, 2022.
