Under the direction of the Supervisor of Maintenance, the Electrician:
- installs, maintains, upgrades and repairs electrical and fire alarm systems throughout the Board;
- performs other duties, as assigned by the supervisor;
- some overtime may be required.
Required Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Secondary School graduation diploma;
- five-year Electrical Construction and Maintenance License, (includes the equivalent of one year of Community College);
- fire alarm system certified;
- two years of related commercial experience;
- ability to work independently;
- good interpersonal skills;
- a valid driver’s licence;
- a satisfactory Police Record Check will be a condition of employment.
This is a permanent, full-time position with an annual salary of $79,815. A comprehensive employee benefits package is also provided.
The start date is approximately July 4, 2022.
