Job Description
The position will involve sample management techniques, tissue and blood collection, tissue cryopreservation, cell separation, tumor measurements, operation, and maintenance of laboratory equipment (centrifuge, liquid nitrogen freezers, balances, etc), obtaining research participant consent, data entry, shipment of samples and general laboratory administration.

Basic Requirements (Education/Experience):
•University or College degree with specialization in a health sciences related field
•Relevant research laboratory experience is required.
•Highly motivated and self-directed individual with excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
•Previous experience obtaining informed consent from research participants required.
•Computer literacy: MS Suite
•Evidence of training certification in Tri-Council Policy Statement -2 (TCPS-2) and the International Conference on Harmonization — Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP)
•Evidence of training in Food and Drug Regulations, Division 5, and/or Device Regulations, as applicable

Preferred Qualifications:
•Masters in a related discipline
•Relevant clinical experience in therapeutic oncology
•GLP experience
•Sample Management: tissue collection, processing, and storage
•Cell separation and cryopreservation techniques
•Transportation of Dangerous Goods (Air/Ground)
•Overseeing maintenance of program equipment (liquid nitrogen freezer tank, centrifuge, etc)
•Proficiency in English and French (Verbal)

Contract Details:
This is a 2-year full-time contract.  Salary: min: $29.96- max: $40.64
