We are currently searching for a Cabinet Installer who will play an active role in the installation of cabinets, vanities, and closets in our vacant and occupied suites and common areas. The ideal candidate will bring a great attention to detail, be self-motivated and organized, and have the ability to work with a variety of spaces and customers, and will be passionate about ensuring the best quality of work for the residents in our community.


The Cabinet installer with work independently and in conjunction with our contractors and other departments by:

  • Installing all cabinets, vanities & closets in vacant & occupied suites and common areas as needed
  • Conducting repairs on cabinets, vanities, and closets
  • Work with contractors and other departments and employees to ensure the best quality of work for our residents
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Receive all orders of cabinetry and inspect all items for deficiencies and inventory
  • Maintain a cabinet & related tools and items inventory and communicate with the supervisor(s) regarding ordering of new items
  • Provide input on design process for future kitchens, bathrooms, and closets as needed.
  • Identify areas to reduce costs/efficiencies by reusing old materials wherever possible


  • 2 years previous experience working in carpentry or cabinet installment.
  • While not required, any relevant post-secondary education would be considered an asset.
  • A secondary school diploma or equivalent is a requirement.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English. Other language skills are an asset.
  • As a condition of employment, must be willing to provide and maintain a clear and valid criminal background check.
  • The ability to work independently and be self-motivated is a requirement.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably for short periods of time is a requirement.
  • The ability to work in awkward postures for extended periods of time is a requirement.
  • The ability to work overhead for extended periods of time is a requirement.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying tools or equipment up to 50 pounds may be required.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills & experience is a strong asset.

  • are and will remain fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
  • A class G Ontario Driver’s License, and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to organize tasks and set priorities are a requirement for this role.
