As a Business Development Representative at Iversoft, you’ll be one of the primary faces of the company. You will be responsible for sourcing and qualifying business opportunities that leverage our mobile, web, design & QA services. The primary focus will be on proactive outbound lead generation by leveraging outreach (email, calls, networking) to potential customers in industries and verticals identified by the sales & marketing teams here


This position will also assist our sales team with the development of presentations and proposals. You’ll be working closely with other members of the Iversoft sales team (Account Managers, Account Executives, Director of Sales) who will support the closing of any qualified opportunities. Our sales team is deeply passionate about our philosophy of project success and client satisfaction, ensuring all projects are delivered as promised.


Proactive outreach to target clients in the form of cold calls, email outreach, LinkedIn, and overall networking.
Work with internal teams to prepare pitches, solutions and/or proposals for new clients
Build & help maintain relationships with current and prospective clients
Work with management to define current and future market opportunities and trends
Seek client contacts who fit our target profile and warm-call/email them to discover their needs and qualify opportunities.
Source net-new business opportunities and help drive the company’s growth
Actively build lists of contacts that meet our customer profile and track all interactions within our CRM (HubSpot)


2 years experience in outbound lead generation, sales, or client services – with proven results
Outstanding interpersonal skills: you’re likely an extrovert and not afraid of meeting new people
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Be a quick thinker with a natural ability to problem-solve and lead “in-the-moment” software conversations in demanding situations with key decision makers
Self-motivated to find new ways to fill the sales pipeline and continuously improve
A passion for helping businesses/organizations find technological solutions to their business challenges and objectives
Familiarity with custom development of mobile and/or web technologies
Familiarity and/or hands-on experience with mobile/web software development and hardware


An existing, maintained network of contacts in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary and/or the US
Experience with a business-grade CRM tool, ideally Hubspot
Eager to learn and proactively stay on top of industry/market trends in the mobile, and web space.
Creative writing talents and active (professional) social media profiles (Twitter, LinkedIn)
