About the job

As an Account Manager at Iversoft, you’ll be one of the primary faces of the company. You bridge the gap between the needs and wants of external clients and the capabilities and expertise of our internal teams. In this role, you’ll do a mix of inside and targeted outside sales, as well as attend local and virtual events – so we’re flexible about how your time is spent. You’ll be working within the Client Services team to ensure our clients are always happy, their projects are delivered as promised, and new business opportunities are leveraged.



  • Proactively develop new business opportunities and help drive the company’s growth through prospecting & outbound sales efforts
  • Build a book of business and manage accounts after close
  • Respond to and qualify incoming leads & requests for information
  • Work with internal teams to prepare proposals for new and existing clients
  • Build & maintain relationships with current and prospective clients on- and off-site – becoming the expert in their needs and industries
  • Work with management to define current and future market opportunities and trends
  • Seek client contacts who fit our target profile and warm-call them to discover their needs



  • 3-5 years experience in account management, sales, or client services – with proven results
  • Proven track record of success in past sales roles
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience writing proposals and/or RFP responses
  • Be a quick thinker with a natural ability to problem-solve and negotiate in demanding situations
  • Self-motivated to find new ways to help clients, build a client list, and continuously improve
  • A passion for helping businesses find technological solutions to their challenges and objectives



  • An existing, maintained network of contacts in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver and/or the US
  • Familiarity with custom development of mobile and/or web technologies
  • Experience with a business-grade CRM tool, ideally Hubspot
  • Experience in health care, entertainment, corporate-level retail, or homebuilder industries
  • Familiarity and/or hands-on experience with mobile software development and hardware
  • Creative writing talents and active (professional) social media profiles (Twitter, LinkedIn)
